Sambar Powder

Ingredients

  • Toor Dal - 1/2 cup
  • Chana Dal - 1/4 cup
  • Coriander Seeds - 1/2 cup
  • Fenugreek Seeds - 1/4 cup
  • Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
  • Saunf -1tbsp
  • Onion Seeds - 1/2tbsp (optional)

Preparation

  1. Keep thick bottomed pan on low flame.
  2. Fry all ingredients separately, let it cool.
  3. Make powder and keep in air tight container.
